All schools within Morgan Hill Unified School District will be closed Monday, Oct. 8 due to a furlough for all staff. It’s the only furlough day so far scheduled this year.

The conference is called “No Excuses,” named by students who felt, after last year’s installment, they could be the first in their family to go to college.

On Sept. 11 at its regular school board meeting, the Morgan Hill Unified School District welcomed Denis Guerrero as its latest hire in the district office.
