Mary S. Quesada, long-time resident of the Imperial Valley passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009. She went peacefully, in her sleep. She fought the good fight, and had survived three strokes within the last year and a half. She was 85. Mary married Antonio Quesada and they raised their family of six in Holtville, CA. After waitressing many years, Mary decided to stay home and become a Foster parent. Our brother, Thomas, was adopted into our family when he was three years old. Mary will be remembered for her loving heart, her quick wit, her ready smile, and her wicked games of Yahtzee and Bunko! And her very funny stories! We were fortunate to have her for many years, and we miss her dearly, but we rest in the knowledge that she is at rest with our loved ones that have gone before us.

She us preceded in death by her Mother: Maria Zamora Sanchez, Father: Ignacio Sanchez, Son: Tony Quesada Jr., Husband: Antonio Z Quesada, Son-in law: Michael (Mickey) Clark, Sister: Anita Abril. Survivors Include: Daughter and Son-in-law: Alice and Ruben Espinoza, Yuma, AZ; Daughter: Gloria Garcia, Salida, CA; Daughter and Son-in-law Adolph and Carolyn Garcia, El Centro, CA; Daughter: Yolanda Clark, Visalia, CA; Son: Joseph Quesada, Chesapeake, VA; Son and Daughter-in-law: Thomas & Annell Quesada, San Diego, CA.
