Angelina Fedalizo, 85, joined her beloved, Luis Fedalizo, Sr., in Heaven on June 20, 2017, in San Martin, CA.
Born in Sumnanga, Sabtang, Philippines on February 26, 1932, Angelina came to the United States in 1964 with Grandma Alice Hill. She met Luis in 1965 at a party in San Martin where he presented her with roses picked with his bare hands. Language barrier and age did not stop their love from growing. They married two months later and built a joyful, loving home, Morning Side Farm Retreat, where all were welcome.
Angelina, animal whisperer and green thumb, could nurse any animal or plant to health and everyone (human and animal) was drawn to her.
She touched the lives of many in the church, school and sports communities with her laughter and smiles. Angelina leaves a legacy of love for friends, family, and strangers who enjoyed her joy of cooking, especially lumpia, pansit, fried rice and adobo.
Angelina is preceded in death by sister, Salome Sermon; husband, Luis Fedalizo, Sr.; son, Ricardo Fedalizo; and son-in-law, Carl Hughes.
She is survived by siblings, Valerio and Bibiano Gabilo, Irene Beronque and Matilde Figuro; children Luis Fedalizo, Jr. and wife, Diana; Linda Fedalizo-Hughes; and grandchildren Zachary, Jordan, Haley, Giovanni Fedalizo and KyVon and Myka Fedalizo-Hughes.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 3:00pm at Habing Family Funeral Home followed by a Vigil Service at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Catherine Church, Morgan Hill. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Memorial Park.
