Mary Jo Pierce passed away suddenly of natural causes on June 27, 2012. She is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband Les Pierce, her two daughters Deborah Pierce and Peggy Pierce-Rudd and her son Les Pierce Jr. She is also survived by her brother Nicholas Ferrero, her sister-in-law Betty Ferrero and many nieces and nephews.
Mary Jo was born in Los Angeles, CA and moved to Hollister, CA in 1972 where she worked for San Benito High School, Asgrow Seed Company and retired from the Hollister Water District.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Victor P. Ferrero and Josephine Ferrero and her sister Rose Marie Ferrero.
Rosary services will be at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 1st, 2012, at Grunnagle’s, followed by her funeral at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 2nd, 2012, at Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos. A reception will be held at the Immaculate Conception Hall following the funeral.
There will be a private inurnment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Judes.
