Petra Olivas Romero May 30, 1929 – August 13, 2016

 Petra O. Romero of Gilroy passed away August 13, 2016. Petra was born in Fabens, TX.
 She was surrounded by her husband, Refugio Romero and her six children during the time of her passing.
 She is preceded in death by her son, Pedro Romero. She leaves her husband, Refugio of 66 years; Daughters: Carmen (Perfecto) Rios, Virginia (Joe) Limones, Teresa Romero, Alma (Danny) Molina; Sons: Oscar (Dolores) Romero, Jose (Carmen) Romero; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
 She was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary’s Church and a Eucharistic Minister.
