Born in Monterey, California and grew up in Hollister. Julie passed away peacefully on January 28th after a courageous battle with cancer. Remembered lovingly by her husband of 63 years, Elmer Azevedo of Gustine, where the couple made their home since moving there in 1952. Julie will also be missed greatly by her daughter, Judy Cabral of Paradise and her son Gene Azevedo of Yuba City.
Friends are invited to the funeral service on Friday, February 2, 2007 at 1:00 P. M. at the chapel of the Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to suggest that donations be made in Julie’s name to the American Cancer Society, c/o the mortuary chapel.
