Bill requested no services, just good wishes and good memories.
 William “Bill” MacLeod passed away in Bakersfield, CA on July 20, 2016. He was born to Albert and Alberta (London), in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada; the youngest of three children.
 Bill developed a passion for horses while growing up on a standardbred horse ranch. At 17, he pursued his passion, travelling and working in harness racing throughout the U. S. In later years he managed a ranch in Morgan Hill, CA and worked in picture frame manufacturing.
 Bill retired in 2009 and moved to Bakersfield to be closer to his daughter and grandsons.
 Bill maintained a positive attitude during his life despite four serious bouts with cancer. His courage and determination were outstanding and inspiring.
 Most important to him were his loving family and friends and appreciating the little things in life.
 In addition to harness racing, Bill enjoyed car racing, football and country music.
 Bill will be sadly missed by his loving daughter, Maegan and grandsons, Gage and Asher, his mother, Alberta Ross, New Brunswick, his dear sister, Carolyn (Bob), New Brunswick, nephew, Scott (Kathy), Nova Scotia, sister-in-law, Heather, Ontario and niece, Jill, Alberta.
 Bill was predeceased by his father, Albert (1963), his brother-in-law, Eddie (2003), and older brother, John (2008).
