Thelma L. (Jones) St. John passed away in Salinas at the age of 87. She was born and raised in Hollister and lived in Salinas for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie St. John, who passed away in 2001.
She was a member of Fidelity Rebekah Lodge for over 50 years.She is survived by her children and their spouses, Paul and Barbara St. John of Hollister, Pauline Burton of Paris, TX, Leslie and Sheila St. John of Salinas and James and Linda St. John of Salinas and her grandchildren, Eric St. John, Tina St. John, Aaron St. John, Lynn Burton, Miles Burton, Heather Haran, Dylan St. John, Laurel Atkins, Keenan St. John, Colin St. John, Caitlin St. John and Jacqueline Stephenson. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jenny Rushin.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at the IOOF Cemetery. Rev. Ardyss Golden of the United Methodist Church will officiate. A reception will follow the services at the IOOF Lodge on 4th St. in Hollister.
Donations are preferred to The American Cancer Society in Mrs. St. John’s memory.
