Cremation has been completed by the Neptune Society; In respect of his wishes, there will be no services. His wife, Victoria will scatter his ashes at a place previously designated by him, at a later date.
 After a long battle with cancer, John (Juan) Casas left this earth at 12:10 A.M., on February 14, 2016, at Kaiser Hospital in the presence of his wife, Victoria.
 He is survived by his loving wife, best friend and soul mate, Victoria Casas; son, John M. (Nancy), daughter, Jessica, step-daughters, Melissa, Stephanie (Mark), Kristyn (Joshua); brothers, Abelardo (Maria), Beto (Betty), Pasqual, Jessie (Beverly), Leonardo; sisters, Beatriz (Robert), Alicia, Abigail (Antonio), Ceclia (Silvester), and Rosa.
 He is survived by 10 grandchildren; many nieces,  and nephews, their spouses and children.
 He was preceded in death by his mother, Domitila, father, Jose, nephew, Jahazial; grandson, Miguel and brother-in-law, Juan.
 John worked for Morgan Hill Unified School District for 21 years as a senior maintenance technician; he was forced to retire for medical reasons because of the cancer.
 His co-workers always respected him and remember him for his excellent and meticulous work.
 John was a wonderful and loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, grandpa and friend. He will be missed and remembered by many. This evil disease took an amazing man.
