John Joseph Panzica was called to Heaven on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at 1:20am, after his year and a half journey and fight with stage 4 cancer. He was Courageous, Brave, Positive, and Strong the whole way through. John never gave up! #JOHNSTRONG.
John was born on May 15,1971 in San Jose CA. where he was also a resident for some years. Then moving on to reside in Morgan Hill, CA., and finally making his home in Gilroy, CA.
John graduated from Live Oak High School of Morgan Hill in 1990. After graduating he took a few courses at Gavilan Community College of Gilroy. He always had the itch for motorcycles as he loved riding dirt bikes. So he went on to work for Custom Chrome and later became self employed selling motorcycle parts. He grew to have many friends through his work and will be truly missed and loved by many. John was a board member with the Gilroy Little League Baseball, where his son Paul played baseball for many years. John was always willing no matter what time of day to help with equipment, keeping score, and being an umpire. He was well known with the baseball community and will be truly missed and loved by many.
John enjoyed the simple things life had to offer. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, baseball, going to the races, and the beach. He had the biggest heart, he was a Gentle Giant who had love for All he knew and met along the way. He will be dearly missed by All who knew and loved him.
John is survived by his Beloved Wife Julie D. Panzica; his Son Paul Panzica; Dog Nala Bleu Panzica; Kitty Kenya Monique Panzica; Parents Nace and Kathy Panzica; Brothers Mark Panzica and Johnny Ray Paredes. As well as his Beloved Nieces, Sister in Laws, Nephews, Brother in Laws, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and Friends. Forever in your Heart- JP. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Carol Ann Panzica.
Johns Celebration of Life will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, 16870 Murphy Ave. in Morgan Hill, CA. on Sunday July 23 at 4pm.
There will be a reception to follow.
