Jane Lorena (Boccone) Fingulin, born May 10, 1933 in Nashville, TN, to her parents Samuel Leslie and Lucretia Evans Grow, died March 12, 2010 at a convalescent hospital in Gilroy , CA.

Jane grew up in Burlingame, CA and graduated from Burlingame High School, San Mateo City College, Stanford University and San Jose State University where she also earned her teaching credential. She taught elementary school in San Jose for 16 years until she was forced to take a medical retirement.

She met and married Charles Boccone in 1954 and they had five children. In later life, she met and married Alfred Fingulin and they lived in Nevada City, CA , Visalia, CA and finally in Indiana.

The things she loved in her life were reading, music, flowers and her kitties. She also enjoyed writing and was the editor of many a newsletter through various groups over the years, which was probably due to her newspaper experience while getting her degree in Journalism from Stanford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alfred and her son-in-law Frank Gallo. She is survived by her five children Lisa (Jaime) Urzua, Juliet Boccone Gallo, Laura (Jorge) Santamaria, Clark (Christy) Boccone and Norman (Victoria Igel) Boccone as well as twelve grandchildren, Clark, Alexander, Ariana and Kiara Santamaria, Nathaniel Igel, Charlotte and Kate Boccone and Nicholas, Alexis and triplets Adam, Landon and Ryan Boccone.

A private memorial service will be conducted by the family at a future date as well as a recognition in the Unitarian Church in Indiana, where she and her husband Alfred were members.
