Gregory John Knapp went to be with his beloved Savior on July 11th, 2012, while at his home and surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda; his son Matthew and daughter-in-law Cameron; his son Mark and daughter-in-law Autumn; 6 grandchildren; his brothers, David Jr. and Jonathan, his mother-in-law Irene and his brother-in-law Richard. Greg was preceded in his death by his parents, David and Lucille Knapp.
Greg dedicated his life to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with all he knew. Greg spoke on how to have an excellent marriage, was active in many Bible studies, had a passion for charity and was an active amateur radio operator (N6GK). He was always willing to help those in need around him through whatever means possible. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.
Providing a clean source of fresh water for those without it became a passion of Greg’s in recent years. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family would appreciate donations to World Vision International, in Greg Knapp’s name, at 1-888-511-6519. and referencing “source code 105-429-539”.
There will be a Celebration of Life held for Greg at Calvary Chapel, Gilroy, on Sunday July 22nd, 2012, at 3:00 P.M.
