Lynda passed away peacefully at home, after a very short but courageous battle with cancer. Her oldest daughter Christine was by her side and two of her beloved cats, “Kitty” and “Smokey”.

Lynda was born and raised in Oregon, later moving to California, living in Santa Clara where she raised her family.

She had worked for Vishay, Siliconix as a Technical Data Specialist for over 20 years. It was there she met her late husband, James Harnden, they were married in Pacific Grove in 1994, moving to Hollister in 1996.

Lynda is survived by her two daughters, Christine Dixon of, Modesto, Alicia Marquez of San Jose, and her mother Marjorie Foster of Vacaville; son-in-law Jesse Marquez and five grandchildren, Teresa, Junior, Joshua, Jesse Jr. and baby Josiah of San Jose.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Harnden, father Eldon Foster and sister Marsha Landon.

Lynda leaves behind a legacy of pure love and devotion to her family. To Lynda, family came first, no matter how she felt to the very end. She was a Mother and Grandmother extraordinaire. Lynda was a very private person, but to those she considered a friend she was very sweet, kind and caring. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and her pets, Kitty, Smokey, Bootsy and her dog Brooke.

Lynda had a deep love and passion for all animals, cats, dogs and horses. She learned to ride while growing up in Oregon and continued until a few years ago.
