George is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia,
his children; Glen, Michele, Rick, Tim and Carl. He was preceded in death by a son, James. He had 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. George was a World War II Navy veteran. Everything he did, from loving his family,
being a foster parent, along with Pat, for over 100 kids, whether he was driving a truck or planting a garden, when he was telling a story and laughing while trying to tell a joke……He gave all of himself in everything he did and expected the same from everyone else.
The best part of him lives on in all of our hearts.
We are better people because we had him in our lives.
Memorial service will be November 17, 2007 at
1:00 P.M. at the Unity Church, 2467 Veneman Ave.,
Modesto, CA.
