Alfonso V. Jaime passed away Saturday, November 24th at the age of 83 in Hemet, California. Born in Lemoore,CA, having lived in Hollister from 1932 to 1954, when he moved to El Segundo, CA. He attended local schools in Hollister and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He worked for Foremost Dairy and was in charge of weights and measures for 37 years. Alfonso was preceeded in death by his wife Rachel who died in 1994, his parents, Luis and Maria Jaime and brothers Adolph and Henry Jaime. Father of Anne Turek of Pacifica, Rick Jaime of San Andreas, George Jaime of El Segundo, Cathy Nicholai of Fort Bragg, Marie DeGand of Woodland,and Mark Jaime of Smith River. Brother of Carmen Jaime of Mexico and Mae Landeros of Hollister. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home with the funeral Mass to be offered Wednesday evening at 7 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Thursday morning at 9:30 A.M. proceeding to the Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery for Committal Services at 10 A.M. Contributions are preferred to Sacred Heart Church.
