It was a cold, wet and rainy Sunday morning. Then without warning the clouds parted and a ray of sunshine shone thru the living room window and God reached out his hand and took my beloved wife, mother, grandmother and good friend Diane Taylor.

Surrounded by family and friends on November 21, 2010, Diane lost her courageous battle with cancer and peacefully passed away and started off on her next adventure.

Diane was born in Grand Rapids Minnesota 1945. Raised on a farm in the town of Blackberry outside of Grand Rapids. Not content to stay home she decided to move to Northern California to enjoy the Sun, Surf and a better way of life. So after graduating from Grand Rapids High School, she got married and headed west where she remained until her passing.

Diane is survived by her loving husband Gary Taylor, loving daughter Stacee Smith, loving son Jason Smith, loving daughter in-law Shannon, Grandson Austin, step-daughters; Stacy Taylor, Kelly Taylor, granddaughter Celene, great- granddaughter Emma, and step-daughter Terry Voltmer and son-in-law Tyler Voltmer.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Diane Taylor’s name. Please contact them at: 800-227-2345 or go to their WebSite at: www.cancer.org/involved/donate/donateonlinenow
