Our beloved Zoe Lynn Trentz passed on early Thursday morning at the age of 60 from a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Zoe was born premature as an infant and given a slim chance at survival. Her mother looked down on her and said this beautiful baby girl is GOING TO LIVE and quickly decided to name her Zoe, which is a Greek word meaning “life”. From that moment on, Zoe took her name as her mantra and lived her life to the fullest every single day.

Born and raised in California, Zoe relocated to San Benito County 16 years ago to be close to her grandchildren. Zoe always had fun in everything she did; she was an avid golfer, loved dancing, gambling, going to parties, shopping, and above all else spending time with her loved ones. Zoe’s laugh was loud and infectious and probably the thing that all who loved her will miss the most. Zoe had such zest for life that despite the fact she was suffering from cancer, she was out golfing, shopping, and spreading her love with the world until the very end. Zoe prayed she would make it long enough for her youngest grandchild Cole (now 5) to have happy memories of how much his grandma loved him, You did it momma, he will remember your love always and have dear memories to cherish for a lifetime!!

She loved much, laughed often, and always danced like no one was watching. She will be deeply missed.

As well as the countless friends and family that loved her, Zoe leaves behind her husband of 42 years Peter Trentz, daughter Tammy Trentz, daughter Tiffany and son-in-law Stephen Wyrick, grandchildren Madison, Wesley and Colten Wyrick all of Hollister and her sister Karen Daniels of Danville.

Services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos at Noon, On Monday, Janaury 16, 2012
