Zeda passed away in her Hollister home after a long illness at the age of 72.

She was born in Denaville, AR and moved to California in 1954. She was a retired Savemart checker and UFCW member. She also worked many years in Hollister, waitressing at Bishop Cafe and Jerry’s Restaurant.

Zeda is survived by her sister, Nancy Ashcraft of Hollister; daughters, Donna Jackson and Annette Ramos of Hollister; and grandsons, Tony Huerta and Steven Ramos of Hollister. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary “Maggie” McMilan of Sherman, Texas and her sister, Beatrice Hyepock of Sherman, Texas.

She was a member of the Hollister Church of Christ and the Red Hat Society.

Memorial Services will be Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at 3:00 P.M., at Hollister Church of Christ and will be officiated by Ed Perryman.

The family requests donations be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund or to Stanford University School of Medicine in her memory.
