 William “Bill” Nunez was born in Los Banos on June 13, 1934, and passed away peacefully on January 5, 2013, after a lengthy illness.

 He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arlene Nunez and his second wife, Rena Nunez, sister, Virginia Vanetti, and his sister Tootsie Garcia.

 He is survived by his son, Harold Nunez of Hollister, brother John Nunez of Idaho, sister Evelyn Gomes of Los Banos and his sister Emelda Faught of Mariposa, his brother George Nunez Sr. and many nieces and nephews.

 Bill was a barber for 45 years in Los Banos and Hollister. He worked at “B&R Barber Shop” for several years and then opened his own shop, “Bill’s Barber Shop” on San Benito Street.

 During his years as a barber he made many good friends.

 He liked to go hunting and fishing whenever he got the chance. Bill will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Rest in peace Bill.
