Passed away in Elk Grove, CA on May 12, 2010, while he was at home surrounded by his loving family. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Lynne, as well as his children; Bill Ladd, Kim Balazs, Cassie Ladd-Stobener, Carrie Ladd and Tina Gray. He was the cherished father-in-law of Lisa Ladd, Bela Balazs, Bob Stobener, Natalie Fuller and Karen McClaflin. His is also lovingly survived by his grandchildren; Dustin, Brandon, Megan, Michelle, Zachary, Kyle and Kelsey, as well as many other family members and friends. He was a San Francisco native and a 6 year resident of Elk Grove aged 72. He was CEO and President of Bolt Security Services in Santa Clara for over 25 years. He was a long-time member of Rotary International and was honored with a Paul Harris Fellow designation. He was President of the Alarm Dealers Association and a member of the Santa Clara Burgler and Fire Alarm Assocation. He was also the President San Benito Healthcare District Board of Directors. Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service on May 19, 2010, at 1:00P.M., at W.F. Gormley & Sons Chapel, 2015 Capitol Ave., Sacramento. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and will be eventually interred at the “Punchbowl” – National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii.
