Well, we elected Mr. Maldonado to be our State Senator. Today, I was looking at his Web site to find out what he is doing and what his priorities are.
They are definitely not in Morgan Hill. You only have to look at the “District Link” on his publicly funded site to see that he provides lists to many locations, but not to the City of Morgan Hill, to many business resources, but not to the the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce.
I guess that he is not concerned with Morgan Hill. The City was right to fight the recent redistricting. The Times was right in calling for support of the governor’s proposal for changing how the districts are drawn up every decade. I will reserve opinion on Schwarzenegger’s other proposition, but this one makes sense.
