Wendell, went home to the Lord, to join the love of his life, ”His Margaret”, with whom he spent over 67 wonderful years. A proud veteran and Resident of Hollister since WW II and a Fabric of the Community,
”Woody” wore several hats in his diverse career path and was proficient in the auctioneering arena for over 20 years. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved him very much. His friends and acquaintances were also vast. Woody will be remembered for his laughter, wit and understanding the pure, simple joys of life, especially while enjoying a good bbq and “a cold one” with loved ones.
He is gone, but ”never forgotten”.
Funeral Mass, Friday May 1, 2009 at 5:00 P.M., St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Hollister. Family requests no flowers please.
