Relay for Life Team Honors Their Young Survivor
For the past four years, Carden Academy has participated in Morgan Hill's Relay for Life as a way to honor the courage and triumph of their principal, Geralyn Vasquez, who is a breast cancer survivor. This year, the student team is walking to honor another member of the Carden Academy family, Brandon Pride, who at five years of age, is already a cancer survivor. He is a member of the junior kindergarten class.

Live Oak track and field set for PRs
When Brenden White unleashed a personal-record (PR) shot put throw of 46 feet, 2 inches in the first meet of the season, he was mildly surprised. But White doesn’t plan on stopping there; in fact, he has a goal of throwing 50 feet by the end of the season.
