Maggie Taylor highlighted Live Oak’s play by finishing eighth out of 10 girls and shooting a 57 against MVC, the No. 2 team in the league.

Despite the outcome, coach Mike Rubino was happy with his team.

“They did a great job,” he said. “The team we played was the number two team in the league. And they’ve got a lot of very experienced girls.”

Live Oak won their previous match by default against Monterey on Oct. 9.
