Live Oak HS baseball (6-8 overall, 6-3 BVAL Santa Teresa East)

Recent results: Lost 8-2 vs. Lincoln; lost 9-1 at Lincoln; won 8-0 vs. Hill

NOTES: In the victory against Hill, Brandon Behl, Thomas Guenet and Jonah Chattha each had two hits. Pitcher Bennett Nishikawa threw a five-hit complete game shutout and struck out eight batters.

Live Oak HS softball (12-1 overall, 6-0 BVAL Santa Teresa)

Recent results: Won 6-1 at Piedmont Hills; won 11-1 vs. Milpitas

NOTES: In the win over the Pirates, pitcher Julianna Altamirano threw seven innings and struck out nine. Olivia Mixco, Kayla Tulowitzki and Quinn Hulber-Dana each had two hits. 

Against Milpitas, Tulowitzki and Eden Svoboda each had three hits and Svoboda stole two bases. Maya Medina earned the win from the mound, tossing six innings and allowing no earned runs while fanning nine batters.

NOTES: In the win over the Cougars, Anden Rogers scored three goals and had two assists. Sam Ellingson and Bennett Nishikawa each scored twice.

Recent results: Won 17-4 vs. Lincoln; won 18-8 vs. Leland

NOTES: In the 17-4 win over Lincoln, Amelya Forbis scored three goals and added three assists. 

Megan Cahill Mallory scored three and had two assists. Sophia Saade, Rian Henderson and Viviana Bettencourt each scored two times. In the rout of the Chargers, Forbis scored an amazing seven goals and had two assists. Cahill Mallory had four goals and three assists and Ava Dinoto had three goals.

NOTES: Acorns dumped Mt. Pleasant in first-place showdown. Scores were 25-22, 25-20, 25-20.

Recent results: Won 7-3 vs. Gilroy; won 7-5 at Gilroy; won 11-1 at Oak Grove

NOTES: In the opener against the Mustangs, Aidan Flores and Dylan Brown each had two hits. In the rematch, Hunter Rubbo, Liam Bettencourt and Flores each had two hits. In the win over Oak Grove, Vince Pomo had three hits and Bettencourt threw five innings for the win, allowing just three hits and an unearned run, while striking out seven batters.
