CAMPBELL — It’s do-or-die time for the Lady Bulldogs; the aftermath of Friday’s 34-30 defeat at Westmont.

At 11-10 overall and 3-7 in Blossom Valley Athletic League-Mount Hamilton Division play, the Sobrato girl’s basketball team must win its final four games to become eligible for the CIF-Central Coast Section playoffs.

The going won’t be easy. The Bulldogs will wrap up a three-game road stint against first-place Evergreen Valley and Silver Creek next week before ending the regular season at home against Piedmont Hills and Leigh.

Sobrato trailed 16-13 at halftime after leading 6-5 at the end of the first quarter.

In a game that featured no players in double figures, the Bulldogs got points from eight players, including eight from Sarina Santiago and six from Gabi Gamez. Melissa Cachopo added four points.

Dilara Onur finished with eight points to lead Westmont (10-11, 3-7).
