Resident of Morgan Hill age 85 passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2012, with his loving wife and children by his side. He was a quiet loving man who lived an honorable life. If you needed help, Sal would give you the shirt off his back.

 He was born in Rochester NY in 1926 and worked in his father’s grocery store. They moved to Morgan Hill in 1948 and built the family restaurant Tacci’s Italian Restaurant and Tacci’s Texaco on Monterey Rd.

 He met his future wife Carol at a dance and spent the next 53 years happily married to her. He owned his own hair salon for over 50 years and was proud to call himself a “cosmetologist”.

 He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Carol, sons Michael and John, daughter Mary Sunseri and Son-in-law Don. Beloved grandchildren Nick and Brooke Sunseri. Loving sister-in-law Marjorie Young and family. Loving Sister-in-law Johanna Tacci and family. His extended family RoseMarie Martin and family.

 He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Joseph and Mary Tacci and beloved brother Tom Tacci.

 Viewing to be held Sunday October 28th. 2012, from 1:00-4:00 P.M. at Habing Funeral Home ,Gilroy. Memorial Mass to be held on November 5th, 2012, 10:00 A.M., at St. Catherine’s Church, Morgan Hill, reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Catherine’s Church or your favorite charity.
