Bob Thompson passed away at his home on February 16, 2017, after a truly heroic battle with cancer. He was a dedicated and respected teacher at Live Oak High School for 38 years, retiring in 1997.
Bob was an avid runner, cyclist, photographer and computer geek. He is survived by his wife Kris, of 26 years, sons Loel and Lonny Thompson, daughter Lori Jones (Henry), stepson Eric Lopez (Heather), stepdaughter Maren St. Ours, grandsons: Lorin (Matea), Kyle, Nate, JoJo, Bear, Wolfie and Lynx, granddaughters: Lily and Anna, great granddaughter: Catori. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Jeannette in 1984. A celebration of his life will be held on March 26, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the family home: 14735 Amberwood Lane in Morgan Hill.
