Robert Randolph “Bob” Strickland succumbed to severe head injuries sustained while on his way to work. Robert had an impact on everyone with whom he came in contact.

 Bob spent a large portion of his life trying to help those suffering from addictions. He received his Masters Degree in Theology from Patten College, and established shelters in Santa Cruz and San Francisco to help get troubled kids off the streets.

 Robert leaves behind his beloved daughters, Chanele and Paris; his parents, Jim and Ann Strickland; his brother, Tom Strickland. He also leaves his many uncles and aunts: John and Peggy Hodges, Larry and Susan Hodges, Dennis Hodges, James and Renee Hodges; and Patricia Strickland-Lee, as well as many, many close friends and relatives.

 Friends are invited to a Celebration of Roberts Life on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the Gilroy South Valley Community Church 8095 Kelton Dr., Gilroy. Private inurnment will be held.

 Donations are preferred to the donors favorite charity.
