Rafael S. “Ralph” Landeros passed away at his residence Monday, Sept. 19th, 2011, with his family by his side at the age of 82 years.

Ralph was a native of Baldwin Park, CA; the oldest of ten children born to Gilberto Landeros and Maria Soriano Landeros. He moved to Hollister in 1948, met his “wife to be” Mae Jaime in 1950, they were married in 1952 and have celebrated 59 years of marriage.

Besides Mae, Ralph is survived by his children Rosemary Landeros of Santa Clara and Ruben (Alice) Landeros of Hollister; three grandchildren Adrian Landeros, Salvador and Nicholas Lopez and many nieces and nephews. Ralph retired from Tri Valley Growers Cannery in 1992 after working there for 39 years.

He is a member o f the Knights of Columbus and Sacred Heart Church. Friends may visit during the hours of 1:00p.m.and 8:00 P.M.on Wednesday Sept. 21st, 2011, at the mortuary chapel. (No rosary service).

Family and friends will leave the mortuary Thursday morning at 9:30 A.M. for a Mass of The Resurrection beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Monterey Peninsula c/o the mortuary chapel.
