Ultimate frisbee league coming to MH
South Bay Ultimate Disc Society invites everyone to try ultimate frisbee, one of the most enjorable sports on grass, on Wednesday nights at the Outdoor Sports Center Feb. 15 to March 28.
The cost is $10 per two-game sessions, each starting promptly at 9 p.m. No previous experience is required.
Ultimate frisbee is seven on seven, noncontact and follows USA Ultimate rules, emphasizing skills development, equal playing time, life lessons and teamwork.

The Morgan Hill Walking/Hiking Group meets at 6 p.m. every weeknight and 9 a.m. Saturdays for moderately paced walks around town. Meet at the Morgan Hill Shopping Center at Hale Avenue and Main Street, near the red and white Morgan Hill Center sign. Everyone, including pets, are welcome.

USYVL looking for volunteers; registration open
The U.S. Youth Volleyball League is looking for volunteer coaches, site directors and volleyball instructors for its spring season.
Volunteers must be great with kids, dependable and enthusiastic. Volunteering with the USYVL is a great opportunity to work with youths in promoting their confidence and self-esteem while sharing with them the sport of volleyball.
Registration is open for the eight-week instructional season, which will run April to June at Paradise Park in Morgan Hill. It is open to boys and girls ages 7-15.
The USYVL provides a great opportunity for parents to spend time with their kids as they learn the game with emphasis on sportsmanship, cooperation and teamwork.
