Burglary

  • Peak Avenue, 4:40pm. A resident reported she went out for an appointment, and when she returned, the doors were open and things were “thrown about.”

She told police a Winchester rifle was stolen, and other guns were put on a bed but not stolen.

Threats

  • Bender Circle, 9:05pm. A resident reported she is receiving threats from a brother-in-law that he will harm the family.

Auto burglary

  • Cinelux Theaters, Tennant Station shopping center, 10:17pm. A locked Honda Accord parked in the lot at the theater was broken into. An iPod and a stereo were stolen.

July 21

Vandalism

  • Dewitt Avenue, 8:21am. A resident reported someone may have shot a bullet through her front bay window overnight. She told police there is a hole in the window, shattered glass inside the residence and a hole in the interior wall opposite the window.

  • DePaul Health Center, DePaul Drive, 10:46pm. A window of a vehicle in the parking lot was shattered, but nothing was stolen from the vehicle.

  • Hill Haven Mobile Home Park, Monterey Road, 8:29pm. A resident reported a broken window in a vacant mobile home.

Petty theft

  • Baskin Robbins, Cochrane Plaza shopping center, 5:34pm. A customer reported a female suspect stole $40 and some bags out of her car while it was in the lot while a window was down.

July 22

Auto burglary

  • The Courtyard Marriott, Madrone Parkway, 9am. The window of a guest’s Toyota Land Cruiser was broken overnight, and items were stolen from the vehicle.

July 23

Grand theft

  • Wright Avenue, 3:43pm. A resident reported an air compressor, digital camcorder and a laptop were stolen from his residence a week ago. He told the police he has a suspect.

Auto burglary

  • Extended Stay America, Jarvis Drive. A guest reported their Chevrolet was broken into overnight. A window was shattered, and a laptop, digital camera, CDs, checkbooks and a briefcase were stolen from the vehicle.

Stolen vehicle

  • Heidi Drive, 5:05am. A resident was “warming up” their Mitsubishi Montero, and it was stolen from their residence.
