Pedestrian dies in south Morgan Hill traffic accident

A vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian on Monterey Road between West Middle and Crowner avenues Thursday night, according to police.

Monterey Road is closed to traffic in the area while Morgan Hill Police officers investigate the collision. The road is expected to reopen by midnight, Dec. 10. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes. This is a developing story. Check back later for details.
