By revealing this horrifying truth, many of us (and by that I mean me) will question everything we have ever learned. And what is this potentially catastrophic truth that will shake you to your core?
Sandwich generation needs to avoid financial squeeze
Are you a member of the “Sandwich Generation?” This designation - which applies to people caring for their aging parents while supporting their own children - may be applicable to you if you’re either a younger Baby Boomer, born in the late 1950s or early 1960s, or an older member of “Generation X,” born in the mid-1960s. But any way you slice it, being in the “Sandwich” group is probably going to present you with some challenges, particularly of the financial kind - so you’ll need to make the right moves.

Enjoyable meeting with John Horner this week, who’s officially taking over the reins as Chamber Director. Great move forward. John has a passion for the community, the connections, the ability to listen and perform and has business fingers in pie far beyond the quaint and interesting shop, Thinker Toys. The toy shop is kind of like John, really, a pleasant place bent on customer service with an upbeat personality and an inventory geared to success. I also like his ideas on furthering business programs aimed at youth to expand views of the real world and business opportunities.
