Olga Galletti passed away Saturday April 7, 2012, at the age of 82, after an extended illness. A native of Mt. Shasta, CA and a 55 year resident of Gilroy, CA.

 She was a lifelong educator who received her teaching degree from Holy Names College, taught in the Oakland school district before moving to Gilroy where she spent the rest of her career teaching at Glenview Elementary School. One of Olga’s greatest loves in life was running into her former students and hearing about their accomplishments. She was preceded in death by her parents Anna and Vincent Galletti of Mt. Shasta, her sister Irene Crinnion, and brother-in-law Edmund Crinnion of Piedmont.

 She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Stephen Crinnion, Jodie Dailey, Vincent Crinnion, Katie Fahrner and James Crinnion, their spouses and 11 great-nieces and nephews. She was a large part of their lives and will be dearly missed.

 Vigil service will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 4th St., Gilroy at 4:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be Monday, April 16, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 11 First St., Gilroy at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers her family requests donations are made in her name to St. Mary’s School in Gilroy, to carry on her passion for education.
