Oakwood boys basketball fills All League list

Mission Trails League-Coastal Division champions Oakwood Hawks took the lion’s share of All-League nods, led by Youssef Eshra who was named the league MVP.
Eshra was one of seven named to the list. Evan Richards was named Freshman of the Year along with Miles Batey, who was named Sophomore of the Year.
Kort Jensen was named Coach of the Year, along with his coaching staff.
Also receiving nods were Nate Schilling, Zac Jenkins, Justin Mortensen and Jonathan Angulo.
No other school received more than one player.
Anzar’s Victor Flores was the only other area player to receive a nod.
Rounding out the list was Trinity Christian’s Ryan Swedberg, Pacific Collegiate’s Andy Adams, York’s John Taweststjerns and Kirby’s Caleb Bassi.
