Ten Star All Star Basketball Camp

Applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp. The camp is by invitation only. Boys and girls ages 10-19 are eligible to apply. Past participants include Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Vince Carter, Jerry Stackhouse, and Grant Hill. Players from all 50 states and 18 foreign countries attended the 2005 camp. College basketball scholarships are possible for players selected to the All-American team. Camp locations include: Thousand Oaks, CA; Prescott, AZ; Sterling, CO. Soccer Tryouts

Orchard Valley Youth Soccer League will be holding its annual tryouts for U9-U14 Division I (select) and Division III (competition) teams on February 4-5, alternating between Rod Kelley School in Gilroy and P.A. Walsh School in Morgan Hill. Tryouts will also be held on February 11-12. Tryouts for U15-U19 will be held on March 4-5. All players born between 8/1/1997 and 7/31/1988 are invited to attend. Mt. Madonna YMCA Youth Soccer

The Mt. Madonna YMCA is now accepting registration for 2006 youth soccer ages 2-10. The season runs from April 8th-June 3rd.The fee is $45-100 per player depending on age group. Financial assistance is available upon approval. We are also always looking for volunteer coaches and referees. Youth Basketball Tournament Openings

The North America Youth Sports Annual Spring Youth Basketball Tournament at Alameda High School on March 31-April 2, 2006 still has openings for interested teams.

The tournament will feature 10 different brackets, including 5th-6th grade boys; 5th-6th grade girls; 7th grade boys; 7th grade girls; 8th grade boys; 8th grade girls; 9th-10th boys; 9th-10th grade girls; 11th-12th grade boys; and 11th-12th grade girls.

The entry fee for the tournament is $125 and guarantees each team a minimum of two games. There will be awards presented in each bracket. The entry deadline is March 10, 2006.
