Nick Gonzales passed away in Hollister, last Sunday at the age of 83. He was born in Hollister and has lived here all his life. Nick served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a member of the Hollister Elk’s Lodge and the V.F.W. Post 9242 of Hollister. Nick had been a local TV Repairman and antenna installer for over 30 years and later became a weight master for Tri-Valley Cannery.

Nick was preceded in death by his wife, Tillie, in September of 2000. He is survived by his son, Bill Gonzales of Hollister, grandchildren Eden and Spencer Gonzales both of Hollister, two sisters, Bessie Lucas and Bernice Sharer both of Hollister and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be offered this Friday, June 26, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tres Pinos.

Interment will be private at Calvary Cemetery.

Contrbutions are preferred to the Prostate Cancer Research in care of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.
