Myrna “Kay” Abruzzini, 76, passed away peacefully May 29, 2017 at home in Elk Grove, California after a lengthy illness. She is now at peace in Gods loving arms.
Kay was born a redhead beauty on July 5, 1941, in Glendale, California. She married Kenneth Abruzzini and raised their family in Gilroy. Kay was a secretary for Las Animas School and also a records clerk for the Gilroy Police Department. She was a beautiful and generous woman that always wanted to do the right thing. Kay was a proud supporter of the United States Military as many members of her family served honorably. She loved animals, oil painting and gardening. Thank you, Mother, for always being there for us. You will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Sylvia (Weatherford) Walker and brother Robert “Bruce” Walker.Kay is survived by her loving Husband Kenneth Abruzzini, her children: Kenneth Abruzzini (Carrie) of Vine Grove, KY, Kelli Faria (Rob) of Elk Grove, Kevin Abruzzini (Ellen) of Scotts Valley and Kreg Abruzzini; step-daughter Maria Abruzzini of Scotts Valley; grandchildren: Chris Faria (Sharon) of Hollister, David Faria (Rebekah) of Hollister, Mark Faria (Kelley) of Hollister, Nicole Brake (Dewayne) of Boon, IA, Anthony Abruzzini of Scotts Valley; great-grandchildren: Brian Faria, Max Faria, Gabriella Faria, Gwendelyn Simmonds and Amelia Simmonds.
Graveside Services were held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park.
