Michael Anthony Mercado, 48, of San Diego, died Sunday, September 2, 2007. He was born in Gilroy and was a fashion designer. Michael was the owner/designer of “Michael Mercado Collections”.
Survivors include his parents, Salomon and Amparo Mercado of Gilroy; sisters, Cynthia Mercado of Santa Cruz and Evette Mercado of San Francisco; and brother, Samuel Mercado of Gilroy. He was preceded in death by brother, Richard Mercado.
Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary Church at 6 P.M. on Tuesday, September 18, 2007.
