Merlin Thomas Orth died Oct. 10, 2004, at age 93. She was born
in Minnesota and had lived in Morgan Hill for 30 years at Hacienda
Valley Mobile Estates.

She is survived by her son Kim Thomas; and daughter Lynn Utz; daughter-in-law Ruth Thomas; son-in-law Don Utz; grandchildren Tiffany, Liane and Shelly; and great-grandchildren Krystal, A.J., Storm, Christopher, Elizabeth and Deja.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, J. A Thomas.
At the family’s request, there will be no service just private prayers. The family asks that any donations be made to The Battered Women’s Shelter or Salvation Army.
