Margie Ruiz passed away peacefully on April 6, 2017 in Las Vegas Nevada, where she had lived since 2009. She leaves behind her loving family Debbie (Dean), Patrick (Kim) and Christopher (Sarah), along with seven grandchildren and her surviving siblings, Irma Maquinalez and Jim Garcia.
Margie will be remembered for her selflessness, warmth, love of family and dancing. A special place in Heaven awaits and we now have a beautiful angel watching over us.
Born in Upland, California, she moved to Morgan Hill with her family in 1955 and graduated from Live Oak High School in 1959. She lived in Gilroy for over 45 years with her husband Domingo until his death in 1997.
Funeral Mass to be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 10:00am at St Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, Morgan Hill and burial service to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
