Margaret Buchanan Terry, of Morgan Hill, went to her Lord peacefully in her sleep on June 23, 2007. Margaret was born in Decatur, Alabama, on August 21, 1921. She and her husband brought their four children to California and lived in San Jose where their fifth child was born before moving to Morgan Hill. She was very active with the First Baptist Church on Main Street and was the treasurer for many years. She was also an Avon Lady for 48 years.
Margaret is survived by her children, Jim (Kitty) Terry of San Jose, Sue Hebison of Boise, ID, and Bill and Rick Terry of Morgan Hill. Loving grandmother of Diana Zuger, David and Bob Hebison, Craig Terry, Aimee Brown, John Brian, John Michael, and Miles Terry, Stephen and Susan Lucas, and Sydney Moncrief. She also leaves behind 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Terry and one son, John B. Terry.
Visitation will be on Sunday, July 1, 2007 from 2-7 P.M. at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Street in Morgan Hill. A funeral service will take place on Monday, July 2, 2007 at 10:00 A.M., also at Johnson Funeral Home. Interment to follow.
