LOS PASEOS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL dedicated its mural the morning of Jan. 10. The ceremony was attended by the entire student body, parents, Morgan Hill Unified School District Deputy Superintendent Bonnie Tognazzini, Morgan Hill school trustees, district administrators and many community members, including San Jose Councilman Forrest Williams.
The mural, designed by professional muralist Paul J. Gonzalez, depicts Coyote Valley’s history as portrayed in the award-winning multi-media documentary “Coyote Project: Two Rivers Run Through it.” The mural was created by Los Paseos fifth-grade students. Many school staff members and 366 students painted on the mural before Gonzalez put on the finishing touches.
