Morgan Hill – The Live Oak basketball teams will welcome back their alumni for the annual alumni basketball game Wednesday evening.
Tip off will be 5:30pm for the girls and 7:30 for the boys.
Boys coach Brett Paolucci said he is expecting anywhere from 13 to 20 former Acorns to return to take on his varsity squad.
“As expected, a lot of alumni show up,” Paolucci said. “I’m looking forward to it.”
Paolucci said he is never sure who will show up, but said he is expecting recent graduates such as Matt van Kuelan, Dustin Bynum, Bobby Long and Brandon Greene.
“It will be fun to see old faces,” Paolucci said. “They key guys will be there. Most guys just know that the night before Thanksgiving is the game.”
The game will be the final warm-up for both squads before they begin their seasons on Nov. 28. The girls will open up against Gilroy at home and the boys will take on Prospect in the Westmont tournament.
