Jon Alciati (’93) – Two-time All-MBL centerfielder also starred at Gavilan and SJSU. Currently a civil engineer who designed the new 101/87 flyover in 2004.

Michael Alciati (’95) – All-MBL pitcher and All-Coast Conference at Gavilan and relief pitcher at SJSU in 1998-99.

Al Alciati (’67) – Father of Jon and Michael and longtime MHPB coach and manager. All–MTAL lefthanded hitter who can still swing the bat and is assistant Alumni coach.

Allan Andrade (’93) – The catcher is oldest of the three Tom and Kathy Andrade son to play for Live Oak and older brother to Allison Andrade, NCAA champion shortstop for Arizona State (02′).

Neal Andrade (’94) – Live Oak team captain, third baseman and catcher. All-MBL player, played at Gavilan (second-team All-Coast Conference) and Portland State and is current head coach at Gavilan College.

Wayne Andrade (’98) – All MBL SS and 3B, played two years at SJCC and a year at Long Beach State.

Jeff Becknall (’96) – Third baseman with a rifle arm who hit .310 his senior year and was a perennial MHPB All-Star. Currently an electrical engineer for a PG&E contractor.

Josh Becknall (’02) All-MBL RP and emergency infielder who possessed a “closer’s mentality.”

Bob Benevento (’04) – Catcher with clutch hitting history and an excellent arm.

Chris Bergstrom (’98) – Excellent defensive catcher who also played at SJCC and is a recently graduated Santa Clara County Deputy Sheriff.

Chip Carey (’82) – All-MBL OF with over .400 batting average in Alumni games and is an avid LOHS alumni supporter. Currently a Watsonville area dentist.

Carlos Carrasco (’87) – Two-time All-CCS performer who played 10 years professionally at the Triple-A level. Currently working in Phoenix as a sheetmetal contractor.

Mike Christman (’95) – LOHS Athlete of the Year his senior year. All-League in three sports who was steady 3B at LOHS and Gavilan and a walk-on at San Diego State. Currently regional sales manager for a pharmaceutical company in San Diego.

Cary Colla (’98) – Played at SJCC after LOHS and was an excellent power-hitter. Now a Deputy Sheriff in Santa Clara County.

Daniel Crossen (’95) – All-MBL performer at catcher and 1B who hit nine homeruns for Gavilan after LOHS. The UCSB graduate is a teacher at Bear River HS in Grass Valley.

Adam Ferguson (’98) – All-MBL SS attended Chico State and Santa Clara Law School and is a lawyer specializing in estate planning/wealth management.

Kristopher Ferguson (’96) – All-MBL 2B who played for two years at Gavilan and attended Chico State.

C.J. Goularte (’02) – Two-year All-MBL performer who played two years at Gavilan followed by two more at a small Texas college and is now pursuing his teaching credential.

Jon Ham (’94) – 2B for the ’93 and ’94 teams who was a great defensive player.

Kevin Henley (’96) – All-MBL RHP for two years who attended Santa Clara on a baseball scholarship and graduated from Chico State in 2001.

Adam Montarbo (’98) – All–CCS player and the Coast Conference Player of the Year for West Valley in 2000.

Peter Perez (’94) – Rifle-armed RF with great bat control who attended UC Davis and now works as a regional sales manager for an agricultural seed company in Tracy.

Jon Michael Porras (’98) – All-MBL in football and baseball with great speed. Part-time teacher in the South Bay school districts.

Aaron Rodriguez (’98) – Crafty lefthander who went on to play for Gavilan College and then a small Christian school in Southern California. Currently works as a high school JV baseball coach and athletic trainer.

Rob Rodriguez (’94) – 1B for the ’93-’94 team who played three years varsity, followed by two more at Gavilan College. Graduated from Chico State.

Benji Sanchez (’95) – Led CCS in hitting in 1995 with .514 average. Currently runs the family flooring business in Morgan Hill.

Joel Sanders (’95) – Two-time All-MBL hurler who set the single season school record for lowest ERA. Works as a lead foreman for a local plumbing service company.

Ryan Smith (’95) –Together with Schirle and Sanchez, helped form an All-MBL outfield in 1995. Also played at Gavilan before graduating from Chico State in Construction Management. Works as a construction Project Manager in the Auburn/Sacramento area.

Jeff Schirle (’95) – Played CF for the record setting 1995 team. Fitness trainer to the stars on the SF Peninsula.

Michael Sarich (’97) – Talented RH hurler with a superior curveball and an ambushing fastball.

Jason Sarich (’93) – Talented and versatile catcher-outfielder who went on to get a degree in mechanical engineering from Santa Clara.

Billy Sousa (’95) – All-MBL shortstop who was also a two-year player at Gavilan College and graduate of Chico State.

Manny Sousa (’73) – Second oldest alum to participate who has been Most Valuable Alumni Player in two of the last six years and is hitting over .800 in seven alumni games.

Dixon Stureman (’94) – Gifted RH pitcher threw a no-hitter against Seaside in ’94. Now a professional umpire in the California League.

Bill Thaw (’93) – Scrappy catcher hit four HRs his senior year and delivered key hit in 2005 alumni game to drive in his younger brothers, Eric and Mark for the winning runs.

Eric Thaw (’97) – Super-crafty, unflappable left-hander with deceptive speed and pitch location.

Mark Thaw (’97) – Equal in ability to his identical twin brother, with a touch more foot-speed.

Eric Wagle (’98) – All-MBL RH pitcher who was an ace closer for SJCC, setting California JC records for single season saves. Played two years at Humboldt State and is varsity pitching coach for last three years.

Walt Weston (’92) – All-MBL RH pitcher and Player of the Year who starred at St. Mary’s College in Moraga.
