Over the past 45 years, Scout Troop 799/2799 has been launching the Magic Ship as part of the holiday festivities surrounding the Morgan Hill area. Its first sighting occurs at the annual Holiday Parade, but throughout the month of December the Magic Ship (and Santa) spreads cheer amongst our town as people embrace the holidays.
However, many are not aware of the behind-the-scenes activities which occur to support the ship and thus the reason for this recognition.
The Troop would like to thank our community partner, Guglielmo Winery, for their unwavering support in using their facilities to house the ship these past four decades during this annual tradition.
