 Katherine L. Coker, a 30-year resident of San Benito County, passed away at Mabie SNF. Born and raised in Monterey, she also lived at Casa de Fruta for many years.
 Katherine is survived by her children, Jerry Tucker of Oakdale, Cathy Watson and Judy Montoya of Hollister, Vicki Schaffer of Pasadena and John (Wendy) Coker of La Puente; her siblings, Willard Dames of Parker, Arizona, Pearl Lute of Crescent City, William Dames of Victorville and Rosemary Stephens of Nampa, Idaho; 9 grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Coker, in 2012; her parents, Willard John and Gladys May Reynolds Dames and her brother, Jimmy Dames. She also leaves her cat, Ashes.
