Joni Tovar

Joni Tovar-daughter, sister, wife, mother of three, and grandmother of two, passed away suddenly Sunday afternoon May 2, 2010, in the comfort of her home. To those who knew her, she was quite a character. Joni could make anyone laugh with her sarcastic sense of humor;that is what made her personality stand out. She started everyday the same as the last-strong, persistent and with all she could give. These are the qualities that made her the woman we saw. She was known for always putting other people’s needs before her own. We will all miss her laugh, the smell of her perfume, and the sound that let us know she was near,her dangling keys. A memorial will be held at her home, 223 Gurries Dr. Gilroy CA 95020 on May 12, 2010, which would have been her 49th Birthday. It will be an open house beginning at 12 noon, so please feel free to come at your own leisure. Donations are being accepted for Joni Tovar’s Memorial Fund at Bank Of The West.
