A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2013, at 10:30 A.M., at the Abundant Life Four Square Church, 790 Bolsa Road (Hwy 25) Hollister, California. Lunch will be served.
Pastor Mike Michaelson will be officiating the memorial service, along with Pastor Richard Adams, Jr., & Pastor Vince Guardino-Vinculado. In lieu of flowers, it was our father’s wish for donations to go to: Abundant Life Foursquare Church: To cover camp expenses for children that can’t afford to go. John Charles Khan, 76, of Morgan Hill, California passed away on February 26th, 2013, surrounded by his loved ones.
John was born in Gladstone, VA, on August 21, 1936. He received his graduate degree from SJU in 1974 and his PhD in Metaphysics from UCL in 2010.
John is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marguerite Ellen Khan; their children, Phuong Van Nguyen and Hanh Thuy Pham, Charles Khan and Karen Tesi, Christopher and Christine Khan, and Kathleen Khan; their grandchildren, Joe and Kylee Nguyen, Shane Sawicky and Nikki Burghardt-Sawicky, Branden Khan, Meagan Stemwedel, Nicolas Tesi, Johnny Khan, John Nguyen, Owen Khan and Samantha Khan; their great-grandchildren, Kaysia Nguyen, Alexis Tesi, Jamison Nguyen, Juliana Sawicky, Cadyn Sawicky, Brenna Sawicky, Sienna Stemwedel; his siblings Carol Agaliotis and Richard Khan; Uncle Donald and Aunt Barbara Raney; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded by his mother Mary Evangeline Khan, his father, John Hamilton Khan, his sisters Barbara Thomas and Eleanor Keuning and his grandson, Jacob Tesi.
John’s greatest joy in life was being with his family, drinking bowls of coffee daily, farming, gardening, digging, woodwork and telling or writing tall-tales for all to enjoy.
